Co-Founder & Principal

Kamesam has 40 years of experience in engineering, project management and dispute resolution, with qualifications in engineering, law, arbitration and adjudication.

Kamesam has worldwide experience in engineering and project management, with projects and teams in Malaysia, China, Indonesia,  Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, UK, Netherlands, South Africa, Dubai and others. 

He has a wealth of experience when it comes to addressing issues such as Strategic Risks and Material Topics for the Oil and Gas (O&G) sector, especially when it comes to dealing with local community relations and impacts. Kamesam has also lead audits for Fortune 500 companies in the sector assessing readiness, sustainability and environmental risks, as well as impacts on local communities.

Kamesam has experience working  in Oil and Gas for and with Contractors, National Oil Companies and International Oil Companies.  As a dispute resolution professional he has acted as Adjudicator, Arbitrator and as representative for parties in CIPAA matters related to construction issues.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a Fellow of the Asian Institute for Alternative Dispute Resolution (FAIADR) and an empanelled adjudicator under the Malaysian CIPAA (Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act).

Kamesam Shankar

Anita has more than 30 years of experience in the public relations and financial sectors having worked with financial services (banking and insurance), oil and gas (O&G), telecommunications (telco), and public relations. She lead portfolios involving corporate services, IT, consumer products, financial services, as well as providing PR services and Crisis Management Communication solutions.

She has developed sustainability reports involving institutional and reputational risk surrounding ESG factors, while leading efforts to analyse organisational material topics. These findings were presented during annual general meetings (AGMs) for multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies. Anita has also lead, crafted and executed stakeholder engagement and management strategies for internal stakeholders such as workers (contract and non-contract) to address issues such as worker housing, compensation, and well-being.

Since leaving Ogilvy PR Anita has undertaken a broad spectrum of consulting work for GLCs and Corporate Clients in Communications, Media Training and Crisis Management Communications.  In the last few years, Anita has acquired credentials and experience in Corporate Coaching, and currently has a client list including corporate individuals, professionals, and SMEs.

Anita Chandran

Co-Founder & Principal

Arjuna brings extensive experience in finance, investment, and sustainable development. At the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), he led the Malaysia SDG Investor Map project, which involved mapping and analyzing insights from over 60 stakeholders across APAC and EMEA. This resulted in the creation of 15 Investment Opportunity Areas (IOAs) valued at over US$13 billion, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals and contributing to the global UNDP SDG Investor Map platform. At Atri Advisory, Arjuna crafted project bids and led client services for Supranational Organisation Clients, collaborating with international teams on policy and ESG development initiatives.

Arjuna also has a strong background in financial journalism, having produced over 3,000 articles at The Edge Malaysia. This experience enhanced his expertise in equity, finance, technology, due diligence, and public policy. His ability to analyze and clearly communicate complex financial concepts makes him a valuable asset to our team. Arjuna’s dedication to sustainable development and comprehensive expertise ensure he will drive impactful initiatives and deliver exceptional results.

Arjuna Chandran Shankar

Ramkumar is an Environmental Consultant with over 30 years of experience in leading and conducting environmental studies and engineering projects.

He brings  a wealth of experience and technical knowledge after serving in various managerial & executive positions the designing, construction, installation, testing & commissioning of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) plants and rubber recycling facilities both for both the private & public sectors.

Ram specialises in Environmental Impact Assessment Studies, industrial process evaluation, process automation and controls, project management, solid waste management including incineration, air emission control and the design of air emission control systems.

He has conducted surveys and tests, prepared national reports, feasibility studies on a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas (O&G), recycling and disposal facilities and various manufacturing plants. He is registered with the Malaysian Department of Environment (Jabatan Alam Sekitar Malaysia), under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Malaysia (Kementarian Sumber Asli dan Kelastrian Alam Malaysia).

He has also been the team leader in the National survey for the recycling, waste composition and characteristics in Malaysia.

Ram also serves as the Managing Director of GSR Environmental Consultancy Sdn Bhd with primary responsibility of managing environmental studies and environmental engineering projects. He graduated with Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Mysore, India.
